Desaray Deann Wright, 24, of Samburg passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Wright, Briar Maze, Daniel Southerland, Travis McKay, Nathan Gallimore and Curtis Dean.

Desaray was born October 31, 1996, in Dyersburg, daughter of Patricia Southerland and Dossie Wright both of Samburg.

She is also survived by one daughter, Breaysia Grace Wright of Samburg; six sisters, Selena Wright of Dresden, Evie Wright, Karlee Wright, Tiffany Wilbanks and Kayla Banks all of McKenzie and Joselyn Jones of Missouri; one brother, Dustin Wright of Samburg; her grandparents, Bill Southerland of the Shawtown community, Frances Blackley of Martin and Sidney Wright, Jr. of Big Sandy; her uncles, Daniel Southerland of Martin, Carlos Wright of McKenzie and Clint Wright of Martin; her nephew, Skyler Wright of Troy; her niece, Zelena Gallimore of Dresden; and her cousin, Danielle Starr Southerland of Martin.

She was also preceded in death by her grandmothers, Dorothy Southerland and Monica Canary; and one cousin, Dakota Southerland.
