Funeral Live Stream

Mr. Dennis L. Montgomery, 87, of Union City passed away 4:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Perry Draper will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Jason Montgomery, Bryant Montgomery, Donnie Montgomery, Chad Montgomery, Danny Montgomery, Kenneth Cary and Ken Hogg.

Mr. Montgomery was born December 7, 1933, in Samburg, son of the late Amos and Beulah (Morris) Montgomery. He married Velma Lou (McEwen) Montgomery January 25, 1954. She passed away November 8, 2020. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Fulton, Ky. He loved camping and working in his yard on his tractor.

He is survived by one son, Gary Montgomery of Union City; three brothers, Wayne Montgomery of South Fulton, Hale C. Montgomery (Gloria) of Union City and Eddie Montgomery of Union City; one sister, Charlotte Hogg of Samburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Wart Montgomery, Cletus Montgomery, Donnell Montgomery, Paul Montgomery and Duke Montgomery; and one sister, Ima Sue Montgomery.
