Mr. Dennis Lee Evans, 66, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 2:37 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2020, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Bowlin, Jonathan Bowlin, Doug Clark, Blake Johnson, Brain Major, Jeremy Mathews and Jonathan Crafton.

Dennis was born April 30, 1954, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Dennis and Judy Elaine (Phipps) Evans.  He married Patricia Faye (Davis) Evans December 31, 1971.  She survives.  He was a member of Sassafras Ridge Church near Hickman.  Dennis worked for Major Brothers Farms for over 20 years and he loved deer hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is also survived by one son, Dennis Wayne Evans (Alley) of Water Valley, Kentucky; one daughter, Patricia Lee Callins (Michael) of Kenton; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Donnie Evans (Junie) of Hickman, Kentucky and  Jeff Evans and Junior Evans both of Richland, Missouri.; and two sisters, Lou Patey of Florida and Inetha Evans of Hickman, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Evans.
