Denise (Moore) Johnson, 70, of Troy passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Denise was born October 23, 1954, in Union City, daughter of the late Paul and Jennie Mai (Wallace) Moore. She married Larry Johnson June 10, 2013. Denise had been employed as a nurse for Dr. Bill James' medical office, Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City and in home health. She was a member of Troy Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson of Troy; one son, Melvin Price and wife Felicia of Troy; one daughter, Heather Price McGee and husband Michael of Lakeland; three grandchildren, Hannah Norton and husband Austin of Memphis, Jacob McGee of Lakeland and Katelyn Price of Troy; one sister, Peggie Cole and husband Bobby of Mt. Juliet; and one brother, Paul Moore, Jr. and wife Pat of Newbern.
