Mrs. Debra Ann Yates, 70, of Union City, passed away peacefully at The Waters of Union City on the afternoon of July 26, 2025. Born on August 31, 1954, in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond L. and Adeline Rose (Oldaker) Frady. Debra was a devoted homemaker and was married to James Lawrence "Jim" Yates on October 16, 1970, until his passing on October 9, 2020.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her two sons, Jim Yates and William Yates, and her four beloved grandchildren, Tiara Yates, Cara Yates, Cale Yates, and Quinton Spain, all residing in Union City.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. Friends are invited to gather at the cemetery at the time of the service, as there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
