Obituary

Dean Langley, 78, of Union City passed away 1:45 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at AHC Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City. Brother Eric Williams will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Phil Langley, Tim Edmaiston, Dick Barlow and Johnny Tate.

Dean was born December 14, 1942, in Greenfield, son of the late Harold and Katherine (Baker) Langley. He retired as a school teacher from Dyersburg City School System. After retiring from teaching Dean was employed at E.W. James & Sons in Union City and was a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. He served in the United States Army and was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City.

He is survived by one brother, Phil Langley of Sharon; and his caretaker, Tim Edmaiston of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Quinton Langley, Clinton Langley, Jerry Langley, Larry Langley and Jack Langley.
