Mr. David Harris Vaughn, 70, of Paris passed away 7:34 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was a former resident of Union City.

Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Carl Kizer will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

David was born February 21, 1949, in Union City, son of the late Elmer and Nettie (Harris) Vaughn. He married Deborah (Prentice) Vaughn May 16, 1987. She survives. David was a retired truck driver.

He is also survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kim and Shannon Wright of Troy, Tammy Turner (Jamie Gross) of Dover and Rebecca Cloar of Valdosta, Georgia; one son Leon Turner, Jr. of Union City; six grandchildren, Savannah Diviney of Troy, Colby Turner of Union City, Roelan Roberts, Rylan Roberts and Matthew Gross all of Dover and Autumn Cloar of Valdosta, Georgia.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Williams; and one brother, Tommy Vaughn.
