Mr. David Wayne Storey, 74, of Troy passed away 1:58 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Darrell Hoffman will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

David was born June 2, 1950, in Union City, son of the late Pete Storey and Frances Louise (Chapel) Goodman.  He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a truck driver.

He is survived by one son, Dwayne Storey of Mt. Pleasant; four daughters, Regina Dotson of Troy, Tabitha Storey of Dyersburg, Amy Darnall (Tony) of Union City and Rebecca Cook (David) of Union City; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and three brothers, Herbert Goodman of the Shawtown community, Tony Goodman (Debbie) of Union City and Paul Goodman of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Goodman; and his life long companion, Carolyn Thornberry.
