David Wayne Rhamy, 46, of Troy passed 5:15 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother James Gunter and Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Cranford, David Alexander, Waylon Matheny, Matt Donnell, Josh Lyle and Stacy Hutchison.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Rhamy, Jason Rhamy, Stratton Moore and Daniel Sweatt.

David was born May 9, 1971, in Union City, son of Betty (Storey) Rhamy of the Shawtown community and the late Lonnie Rhamy. He married Treena (Graves) Rhamy October 15, 2016. She survives. David was the owner and operator of Rhamy Flooring & Tile and was a member of Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is also survived by his son, Dylan Thomas Rhamy of Troy; his stepchildren, Stratton Moore, Hannah (Daniel) Sweatt all of Union City
and Brycin Moore of Troy; two brothers, James (Lisa) Rhamy of Martin and Jason (Monika) Rhamy of Ridgely; four step grandchildren, Ethan Sweatt, Andrew Sweatt, Gracie Sweatt and Ava Sweatt all of Martin; and his in-laws, Richard and Sheila Wright and Danny and Tina Graves all of South Fulton.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Christine Storey and James and Veva Rhamy.
