Mr. David Wayne Minton, 61, of Union City passed away 8:59 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

There will be no services at this time.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

David was born January 23, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Donald Ray and Mary Lou (Maddox) Minton.  He married Melanie Ann (Williams) Minton February 14, 1983.  She survives.

He is also survived by three sons, Cody Minton and Colton Minton of Union City and Bowin Tichenor (Lindsey) of Smithfield, Kentucky; one daughter, Marianne Minton of Union City; eight grandchildren, Katie Minton, Carly Minton, Blayze Minton, Kendall Wallace, Jasper Tichenor, Greta Tichenor, Gus Tichenor and Scarlett Tichenor; three sisters, Debbie Keener (John), Donna Baize (Scott) and Destiny Minton; and one brother, Dennis Minton.
