Mr. David Hodge, 45, of Union City died 5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Carl Kizer will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Taylor, Ted Davis, John Arnold, David Hunter, John Davis and Roger Gordon.

David was born August 16, 1968, in Fulton, Kentucky, son of Dudley and Christine (Vaughn) Hodge of South Fulton. He married Tina (Richardson) Hodge December 9, 2011. She survives. He had been employed as a sheet metal worker for the former Stanley Jones Corporation and had served in the National Guard.

In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by one daughter, Melanie Hodge of South Fulton; one step daughter, Alivia Webb of Union City; one granddaughter, Rayne Sills of South Fulton; two brothers and their spouses, Timothy and Lisa Hodge of South Fulton and Daniel and Lindy Hodge of Union City; one niece, Alisha Hodge of South Fulton; and one nephew, Jason Hodge of South Fulton.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ember Lynn Hodge.
