James David Collins, 61, of Union City passed away 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Ray Cagle will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Kimmy Collins, Austin Collins, Dusty Ward, Mike Lefebvre, Troy Eddington and John Gardiner.

David was born April 27, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Clint and Ruth (Davis) Collins. He had been employed at the former Lennox Hearth Products and the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. David attended First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

He is survived by two daughters, Niki Collins of Obion and Danielle Maddox of Union City; one son, Chance Collins of Union City; one sister, Donna London of Union City; and six grandchildren, Jenni Lei Summers, Bryson Collins and Andrew Maddox all of Union City and Laurel Summers, Carson Summers and Brantlee Patterson all of Obion.

He was also preceded in death by three granddaughters, Jordan Summers, baby Patterson and Charlee Mae Collins.
