Mr. David Walker Chandler, 67, of Union City died 9:40 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010, at his home.
There will be no services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mr. Chandler was born April 27, 1943, in Obion County, son of the late Jack and Nellie (Welch) Chandler. He married the former Sue Stafford on September 14, 1981. She survives. David was an avid fisherman and golfer and was a member of Reelfoot Lake Bass Club and Hickman Country Club. He had been a truck driver for many years and was the owner and operator of the former Chandler's Pool Room.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David Anthony and Tabitha Chandler of Newbern; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Dean Osborne of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Betty Sue Chandler of Troy and Billy Jack and Doris Chandler of Clarksville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Tonya and Josh Long of Kura, Idaho, Aimee and Nate Denham of Somerset, Kentucky and Garrett Chandler of Newbern; and four great-grandchildren, Sean Jones and Olivia Jones both of Kura, Idaho and Emma Denham and Briley Denham both of Somerset, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ruth Chandler, and two brothers, James Lee Chandler and Robert Chandler.
