David Dewayne Callahan, 55, of Martin passed away 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Kenneth Springer will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

David was born November 12, 1968, in Fulton, Kentucky, son of Ray and Thelma (Bing) Callahan. He was employed as a truck driver for Tyson. David was a former member of the Obion County Rescue Squad, enjoyed smoking meat and was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Thelma Callahan of Martin; one son, Jonathan Callahan of Martin; and three brothers, Ray Callahan, Jr. of the Clayton community, and Robert Callahan and wife Monica and Bobby Callahan all of Martin.
