Mr. David Lee "Big Dave" Adams, 65, of Union City passed away 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Paul Adams will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Pallbearers will family and friends.

Big Dave was born January 13, 1956, in Union City, son of the late Clem Jonah "Ted" Adams, Sr. and Elizabeth Josephine "Betty" (Baker) Adams. He married Maureen (Teske) Adams January 14, 2005. She survives. He worked as truck driver for the former Reelfoot Packing Company in Union City.

He is also survived by two sons, Noah Adams of Union City and Will Hopper of Tiptonville; three daughters, Christy Byassee of Hickory, Kentucky, Andrea Phelps (Kelly) of Clinton, Kentucky and Michelle McCutchen of Hickman, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kera Adams of Fulton, Kentucky and Dylan Hammond, Kylee Hammond and Tevin Hammond all of Hickman, Kentucky; one sister, Wanda Rives of Union City; two brothers, Jody Adams (Lynn) of Springville and Paul Adams (Kathy) of Union City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bob Rives.
