Danny Lee Sweatt, 67, of Rives passed away 11:50 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sweatt, Daniel Sweatt, Jeremy Sweatt, Jimmy Norton, Dwayne Totty and Jeremy Ricketts.

Danny was born September 3, 1949, in Weakley County, son of Lona Mai (Gant) Norton of the Hop In community and the late Thomas Charles Sweatt. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Danny served in the United States Army.

He is also survived by two sisters, Vicki Pinkham of Cazenovia, Wisconsin and Trena Harris of Martin; and eight brothers, Tommy Sweatt of Rives, Alton Ray Sweatt of the Hop In community, Nathan Dale Sweatt of Saltz, Wisconsin, Michael Steven Sweatt of Cazenovia, Wisconsin, Gary Lynn Sweatt of Rutherford, Terry Lee Sweatt of Martin; Jerry Lynn Sweatt of Skullbone and Albert Sweatt of Kenton.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Gamblin; and one brother, Robert Sweatt.
