Mr. Danny Eugene Courtney, 67, of Union City passed away 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Danny was born June 18, 1954, in Paducah, Kentucky, son of the late Randall Eugene Courtney and Edna Ardell (Ficklin) Wisdom of Alabama. He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 30 years as a tire builder.

He is survived by two sons, Chad Courtney and Brad Courtney both of Union City; one grandson, Caleb D. Courtney of Union City; one brother, Rick Courtney; and two sisters, Angie Hayes and Regina Woess.
