Danny Boyd's Obituary
Mr. Danny Lyle Boyd, 73, of South Fulton passed away 2:09 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at First Assembly of God in Union City. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate.
Visitation will be held at First Assembly of God in Union City from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to Union City First Assembly , 1810 Pleasant Valley Ave., Union City, Tn. 38261.
Danny was born August 20, 1944, in Paris, Tn., son of the late Jack Boyd and Cricket (Woods) Bell. He married Charleene (Tomlin) "Charlie" Boyd November 22, 1986. She survives. Danny was a Army veteran and worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 29 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Union City where he was a Deacon and member of the Couples in Action Sunday School Class.
He is also survived by two sons, Daniel Lyle Boyd, Jr. of Orchard Park, New York and Daryl Ray Boyd of Boston, New York; one brother, Bobby and Diane Boyd of Fulton, Kentucky; two sisters, Peggy Adams of Murray, Kentucky and Linda Butler of Fulton, Kentucky; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Boyd and Billy Boyd.
