Mr. Dan Edwin Fisher, Sr., 86, of Hornbeak passed away 3:23 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eric Burress will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Pallbearers will be Dan Fisher, Zachary Anderson, David Anderson, Darryl Holder, Dillon Fisher and Jeremy Fisher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Harris, Butch Darnall and Norm Petty.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Dan was born May 31, 1937, in Ripley, son of the late Ted and Eva Lois (Morgan) Fisher.  He married Betty (Rines) Fisher December 23, 1965.  She survives.  He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years and was a member of the Goodyear Breakfast Club that meets at Autry's Kitchen in Troy.  He attended Hornbeak Baptist Church and was a member of Woodstock Baptist Church in Shelby Forest.  Dan was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is also survived by two sons, Ted and Laura Fisher of Hornbeak and Dan and Kelly Fisher of Obion; six grandchildren, Jeremy Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Zachary Anderson, Elizabeth Hollomon, Dillon Fisher and Megan Fisher; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Bobby Fisher of Shelby Forest.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Loura Anderson; and two brothers, Gene Fisher and Carl Fisher.
