Mr. Daniel Junior "Dan" Baggett, 90, of Rives passed away 11:37 a.m. Saturday, February 27,2021, at his home.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Dan was born June 13, 1930, in Booneville, Mississippi, son of the late William Daniel and Minnie Alice (Wiggins) Baggett. He married Margaret Elizabeth (Hicks) Baggett January 1, 1956. She preceded him in death June 1, 1982. He married Marjorie (Waters) Baggett May 21, 1977. She preceded him in death April 26, 2020. Dan had been employed at Kincade in Union City and had been the owner and operator of the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Como. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Gumm (Gary) of Union City; two sons, Daniel B. Baggett (Marilyn) of Rives and Sellus Baggett (Shelia) of Union City; two stepdaughters, Liz Taylor (J.T.) of Paris and Emily Nutting of Henry; one stepson, Thomas Jackson (Tresia) of Springville; two sisters, Janie Morgan (William) and Darlene Stewart (Ricky) of Corinth, Mississippi; 18 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Randy Jackson; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Kenneth French; one stepson, Gary Hatcher; one son-in-law, Loyd Nutting; one sister, Joyce Cummings, and two brothers, William Eugene Baggett and James Allen Baggett.
