Mr. Damon Dial, 78, of Woodland Mills died 1:13 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother James Kinsey will officiate. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Scott Dial, Brandon Dial, Michael Dial, Steve Moore, Jerry Still and Bobby Lafever.
Mr. Dial was born July 3, 1935, in Obion County, son of the late John W. and Naomi D. (Blanton) Dial. He was a retired self employed electrician and had been employed at the former Lattus Distributing Company.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susanne and Steve Moore of Union City; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott Dial of Union City, Mark and Edie Dial of Muleshoe, Texas, Brandon and Heather Dial of Woodland Mills; his stepson, Jerry Still of Woodland Mills; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Jo Ann Dial of Troy, Donald and Almarene Dial of Woodland Mills and Larry and Rita Dial of Muleshoe, Texas; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Barry Dial; and her grandson, Barry Wayne Dial.
