Dale Treece, 72, of Union City passed away Sunday morning, September 10, 2023, at his home. He was a former resident of the Shawtown community.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Cole Clanton, Chase Clanton, Chance Clanton, Nick Dial, Rob Muse and Craig Dugger.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Berner, Brad Woody, Bobby Allison, Tim Bishop and Charles Gray.

Dale was born December 29, 1950, in Union City, son of the late Cecil and Violet (Morgan) Treece. He married Janice (Muse) Treece December 20, 1976. She preceded him in death November 12, 2016. Dale was a retired truck driver and had owned and operated a tire repair shop.

He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Cavaness and husband Charles of Henderson and Shelly and Matt Long of Union City; one son, Kyle Treece and wife Holly of Winter Springs, Florida; six grandchildren, Chandler Cavaness (Neely Henry) of Henderson, Austin Cavaness and wife Chelsea of Michie, Kailey Long of Union City and Lily Treece, Cecil Treece and Emma Treece all of Winter Springs, Florida; one great granddaughter, Lakelyn Cavaness of Henderson; two bonus grandaughters, Sara Mathis of Woodland Mills and Elisabeth Foley of Martin; one sister, Tammy Jones and husband Tom of Hendersonville; and one brother, Lynn Treece and wife Deanna of Springville.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Cecelia Treece; and one brother, Kenny Treece.
