Henry Dale Sanders, 79, of the Clayton community passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home.

Born June 21, 1946, in Obion County, Dale was the son of the late Georgie Lee and Edna Lois (King) Sanders. He was the widow of Patricia Ann (Boaz) Sanders who preceded him in death on August 11, 2016. Dale had served in the United States Army and was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and golfing.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery. Jackson Doss will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Dale is survived by two sons, Billy Sanders (Sundie) and Josh Sanders both of the Clayton community; one sister, Kay Rhamy (James) of Union City; and two grandchildren, Will Sanders of the Clayton community and Kyleigh Sanders of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Chamberlain.
