Mr. Gary Dale Goodman, 69, of Union City passed away 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother James Melton will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Randy Stroud, Jeff Clanton, Ben Clanton, Richard Ward, Nathan Melton and Tony Jackson.

Mr. Goodman was born April 26, 1946, in Obion County, son of the late Fannie Bell (Goodman) Cashion. He was a retired machinist for the former World Color Press in Dresden and was a member in Bible Baptist Church in Sharon. Mr. Goodman had served the Tennessee National Guard.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Jennifer Goodman of Dyersburg; one daughter, Joy Goodman of Dyersburg; three sisters, Mary Edwards of Hornbeak, Susan Boyd of Wynnburg and Martha Thompson of Obion; five brothers, Jimmie Goodman of Humboldt, Robert Cashion of Troy and Jackie Cashion, William Cashion and Henry Cashion all of Obion; and ten grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Darnall; and four brothers, Timothy Cashion, Phillip Cashion, John Cashion and Charles Cashion.
