Mrs. Lamer Helois "Granny Cricket" Bell, 93, of Martin passed away 10:21 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Boyd, Jeff Boyd, Joe Byrd, Perry Bowlin, Jimmy Copeland, and Jackson Copeland.

Mrs. Bell was born August 13, 1921, in Henry County, daughter of the late Erie and Idella (Key) Wood. She married Gerald "Jim" Bell in 1981. He passed away March 30, 2014. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Adams of Murray, Kentucky and Linda Butler of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Charlie Boyd of South Fulton and Bobby and Diane Boyd of Fulton, Kentucky; one brother, Joel Wood of Jacksonville, Alabama; thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Boyd and Billy Boyd; five sisters; and four brothers.
