Mr. Cornelio Carlos Gomez Castillo, 69, of Union City passed away 8:00 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Mr. Gomez was born September 16, 1952, in Mexico, son of the late Alfred and Maria (Castillo) Gomez. He was an former employee of Tyson Foods.

He is survived by his daughter, Berlinda Gomez of Union City; his son, Jessie Saldana of Union City; seven grandchildren, Eduardo Junior Murga of Union City, Joshua Joan Gomez of Union City, Joel Rodriguez of Union City, Nissa Baldone of El Paso, Texas, Dominic Baldone of El Paso, Texas, Giaonni Baldone of El Paso, Texas and Jose Baldone, Jr. of Saint James, Minnesota; five great grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
