Corey Wayne Northam, 48, of Troy passed away 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Regional One Health in Memphis.

Memorial services will be conducted  12:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mike Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Morphis, Kip Morris, Kirk Morris, David Earl Thomas, Jeremy Northam, Chucky Moran, Raymond Madding, Willow Andecover, John Biggers and Brian Mitchum.

Corey was born August 5, 1977, in Union City, son of the late Tommy Northam and Jackie (Henderson) Northam. Corey was a carpenter who could build things with his hands, a musician who could pull stories from six strings, an artist and writer whose gifts were often hidden from the world.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Henderson of Troy; his daughter, Julianna Northam of Troy; his sister, Erica Smith and husband Trey of Troy; his nieces and nephew, Grant Smith, Mia Williams, Olive Smith and Ottlie Smith all of Troy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
