Mrs. Clystal Glyndell Ransom, 83, of South Fulton passed away 2:54 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2020, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Clystal was born January 1, 1937, daughter of the late Walter E. and Altha Mamie (Alderdice) Grubbs. She was married to James D. Ransom. She worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City as an inspector.

She is survived by two daughters, Kina Flippen of South Fulton and Susan Carbaugh (Dennis) of Hobart, Indiana; one son, Steven Ransom (Jan) of Downers Grove, Illinois; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Walter Ransom and Mark Andrew Ransom; one daughter, Kimberly Ransom; two brothers; and seven sisters.
