Clyde Lee Blakley, 58, of Samburg passed away 3:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Friday at Graves Chapel Cemetery near Troy. Timmy Vancleave will officate.

Pallbearers will be Timbo Smith, Jeremy Smith, Joe Smith, David Blakley, Jr., Lee Blakley and Paul Whitehead.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clyde was born February 26, 1962, in Tucson, Arizona, son of the late John Henry "Cooper" and Peggy Sue (Terry) Blakley. He had been employed in maintenance with the town of Samburg.

He is survived by one son, Jonathan "Bubba" Blakley of Samburg; and one brother, David Blakley, Sr. of Samburg.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Mae Blakley; and two brothers, John Franklin Blakley and Jerry Wayne Blakley.
