Obituary

Mr. Clay Thomas Mayhall, 29, of Hornbeak passed away 12:06 a.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Greg Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in Graves Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Justin Dill, Chad Dill, Josh Dalton, James Rhodes, Alex Moseley, Jeremy Orr, James Jones, Gary Collins and Ian Riley.

Clay was born July 23, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada, son of Thomas Keith Mayhall of Pillowville and Catherine (Faulkner) Mayhall of Union City. He married Sarah (Spicer) Mayhall June 29, 2019. She survives. He was a 2008 graduate of Obion County Central High School. He worked for 6 years at the City of Union City Water Department and currently with the Obion County Highway Department. Clay and his family attended Greater Vision Church in Troy.

He is also survived by his son, Brayden Mayhall of Hornbeak; his grandmother, Evelyn Mayhall of Union City; his mother-in-law, Alice Hawks of Hornbeak; his father-in-law, Jeff Spicer of Hornbeak; his sister-in-law, Belinda Harris of Friendship; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
