Mr. Clarence Fredric "Sonny" Jones, 85, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 1:46 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Dwayne Uzzle will officiate.  Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be his family.

Sonny was born October 21, 1938, in Union City, son of the late Fred and Louise (Williams) Jones.  He married Bernice (Brewer) Jones September 2, 1983.  She survives.  He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years.

He is also survived by one daughter, Laura Jones of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; two sons, Clarence Jones (Anita) of Hickman, Kentucky and David Anthony Everly of South Carolina; two stepsons, Michael Stough (Debbie) of Rives and Dennie Stough (Karen) of Rives; one stepdaughter, Gwen Nash (Gary) of Atoka; one sister, Arlene Russell (David) of Union City; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Eva Pruitt.
