Cynthia Yvonne "Cindy" (Harrison) Whitson, 47, of Tiptonville passed away 8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at her home. She was a former resident of Obion County.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Bobby Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Beech Cemetery near Union City.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Freeman, Randy Goff, Andy Anderson, Gerald Cox, Robbie Donaldson, Michael Cain and James White.

Mrs. Whitson was born October 27, 1968, in Union City, daughter of the late John Alvin and Eleaner Yvonne (Brandon) Harrison. She married Mickey Whitson April 19, 2003. He survives. Cindy worked for Northwest Tennessee Correctional Facility for 7 ½ years and was a 1986 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She was also a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is also survived by four daughters, Tiffaney Johnson of Tiptonville, Stephani Bell of Tiptonville, Mellanie Ward of Dyersburg and Johnnie Hayes of Tiptonville; one step daughter, Courtney Whitson of Ridgely; five grandchildren, Camren Johnson, Caren Johnson, Addy Johnson, Jacob Mathenia and Elijah Bell all of Tiptonville; one sister, Karen Donaldson of Oklahoma City, Ok. and one brother, J.C. Harrison of Shiloh, Ill.
