Cynthia Fay "Cindy" Truett, 41, of the Clayton community passed away 2:52 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Independent Baptist Church . Brother Carl Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Independent Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Joel Dorian, Justin Dorian, Taylor Dorian, Hunter Allen, Josh Allen and Robby Allen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Rushing, Austin Clayton, Matthew Allen and Isaiah Allen.

Cindy was born November 1, 1973, in Dyersburg, daughter of Norman Franklin and Rita Faye (Southerland) Allen of Union City. She married Robin "Pepper" Truett February 2, 1991. He survives. Cindy was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

She is also survived by one daughter, Ashley Truett of the Clayton community; two sons, Samuel Blake Truett and Dalton Craig Truett both of the Clayton community; two sisters, Kashia Dorian of Troy and Melissa Clayton of Union City; and three brothers, Dewayne Allen of Martinsville, Indiana, and Danny Allen and Jason Allen both of Union City.
