Charles Thomas "Charlie" Williams, 70, of Union City went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 24, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.until the hour of services Wednesday.

Charlie was born December 7, 1952, in Dyersburg, son of the late J.T. and Vinnie (Ballard) Williams. He married Jeanie (Daniels) Williams April 9, 1993. She survives. Charlie had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 35 1/2 years and at Newell Brands in Maryville for 12 years. He was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Maryville.

He is also survived by his son, Jeremy Daniels of Maryville; his brother, Terry Williams of Ridgely; his sister-in-law, Sheila Brown of Martin; five grandchildren, Kaylee Daniels, Chelsea Walker and Aaden Walker all of Union City, Kenlee Daniels of Maryville and Breanna Driver of Dyer; and his nieces and nephews, Tilitha Keathley of Union City, Jacob Williams of Ridgely, Jenny Thomas of Martin, Daniel Markowski of the Sidonia community and Heather Lenseigne of Woodstock, Alabama.

He was also preceded in death by his infant son, John Williams.
