Mr. Charley Ilar Williams, 82, of South Fulton passed away 1:41 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Joint funeral services for Mr. Williams and his sister Mrs. Lillie Carter will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland and Brother Jack Henry will officiate. Burial will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Williams was born April 29, 1936, in Obion County, son of the late Horace Frank and Lessie Lee (Roberts) Williams. He was a retired factory worker and flea market vendor.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Audrey Belton of South Fulton; four daughters, Sharla Williams (Rick) of Milford, Michigan, Cindy Weatherly (Raymond) and Melanie (David) Minton all of Union City and Amy Klein (Richard) of Ann Arbor, Michigan; one brother, Robert Williams of Union City; ten grandchildren, Aaron Williams, Andy Williams, Miranda Williams, Lindsey Walker, Lacey Sublett, Richie Klein, Ray Klein, Marianne Minton, Cody Minton and Colton Minton ; and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Arietta Fowlkes, Molene Marshall and Lillie Carter; and one brother, Milton Williams.
