Funeral Live Stream

Charles Thomas "Tommy" Sergerson, 66, of Union City passed away 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Scott Strain will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Grooms, Nathan Hill, Ron Buskirk and James Brown

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Charles was born August 27, 1955, in Tiptonville, son of Jannie Lee (Settles) Sergerson of Union City and the late William Thomas Sergerson. He had been employed as a tire builder at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Charles was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

He is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law Candice and Will Pierce of Dyersburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and William Hale of Union City and Lisa and Scott Strain of Lebanon; his former wife, Donna Baker Sergerson of Union City; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Maggie Foshee, William Thomas Sergerson, Sr., Austin Goodman, Alvin Settles and Elizabeth Settles.
