Charles Dwight Brown, 68, of Fulton, Kentucky passed away 5:09 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Charles was born January 4, 1948, in the Sassafras Ridge community in Fulton County, Kentucky, son of the late James Monrow and Etta Louise (Austin) Brown. He had been employed as a chief engineer in the riverboat industry and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two daughters, Chasity O'Steen of South Fulton and Jessica Thomas of Obion; three sons, Charles Brown and Justin Brown both of Fulton, Kentucky and David Case of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Cruce of Rives and Charlotte Poteet of Rives; eleven grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.

He was also preceded in death by one sister; and three brothers.
