Cecelia Presson's Obituary
Mrs. Cecelia Lee (Pendergrass) Presson,78, of Union City died 12:45 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010, at VanAyer Health Care and Rehab Center in Martin.
There will be no services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Presson was born June 21, 1932, in the Harris Station community, daughter of the late Mack Darrie Pendergrass and Myrtle Mae (Moore) Pendergrass Beck. She married Henry Lee Presson on August 26, 1979. He survives. She had been employed as a medical lab technician.
She is survived by three daughters, Anna Parks of Union City, Jessica Bargery of Troy and Julie Murphy Hasguichi of Ventura, California; three step-children, Carol Owens and Kelvin Presson both of Union City and Terry Presson of Jackson, Tennessee; her sister, Idella Young of Troy; and her brother, Robert "Bob" Pendergrass of Peoria, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Deward Pendergrass and Charles Pendergrass; and her sister, Nina Paradi.
