Funeral Live Stream

Cathy Dianne Mayfield, 63, of Union City passed away 12:38 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Ben Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Scott, Kevin James, Mitchell Howe, Billy Ralph Mayfield, Jeff Mayfield and Brent Barnett.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Cathy was born July 22, 1957, in Ridgely, daughter of the late Austin Alfred and Rachel Arletta (Turner) Jones. She had been employed at Tyson Foods and was a member of Community Bible Church in Union City.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Ben Phillips of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amanda Mayfield of Union City; one sister, Donna Terry of Union City; two grandsons, Andrew Phillips and Mason Phillips both of Union City; and two step granddaughters, Abby Reynolds and McKenzie Beasley both of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gwythonel Jones and Cheryl James Weatherly; and one brother, Dennis Jones.
