Mrs. Cathleen (Cantrell) Dyer, 63, of Dresden died 5:50 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Regional Hospital of Jackson.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Johnson Grove Baptist Church, 8135 Chapel Hill Road, South Fulton, Tn. 38257.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dyer was born March 26, 1948, in Fulton, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell Hoyt and Helen (Gargus) Cantrell. She had been employed in the deli at E.W. James in Dresden for 15 years and was a member of Macks Grove Church near Palmersville.
She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and James Threlkeld of South Fulton and Carolyn and Jim Rich of Ashland City; her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony Wayne and Cindy Cantrell of Dickson; two aunts and the spouse of one, Doris and Onnie Renfro of Lexington and JohnnieB Harris of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews including Terry Jones of Union City, Renee Hazlewood of Martin and Hoyt Threlkeld of Beaumont, Texas.
She also preceded in death by her husband, George Dyer who died October 2, 1996.
