Obituary

Carrie Mae Moran, 83, of Union City passed away 4:40 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at AHC Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Dickson, Bryce Moran, Chucky Moran, Stevie Moran, Richard Moran and William Dalton Moran.

Carrie was born May 14, 1938, in Obion County, daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Parrish) Vaughn. She married James "Jack" Moran in August 1954. He survives. Carrie was a retired line supervisor at the former Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church.

She is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Moran of Union City; two grandsons and their spouses, Bruce and Valerie Dickson of Bloomington, Indiana and Bryce and Chelsea Moran of Union City; five great grandchildren, Hudson Moran of Union City and Cole Dickson, Grady Dickson, Mackenzie Dickson and Kevin Cash Dickson all of Bloomington, Indiana; and one brother, William Vaughn of Obion.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie Moran.
