Carolyn Ann Pryor, 91, of Troy passed away 9:16 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. Lee Moses will officiate.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born August 4, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charles Brown Ruble, Sr. and the late Sammie D. (Tucker) Ruble. She married Ralph Edward Pryor September 9, 1949. He preceded her in death December 21, 2003. Carolyn had been employed as a waitress, a secretary and was a homemaker. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Troy.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Scott (Jerry) of Troy; three sons, Joe Pryor (Sonya) of Union City, Sam Pryor (Connie) of Derby, Kansas and Paul Pryor of Union City; one sister, Martha Minton of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren, David Ward, Nathan Pryor, Kristi Truett, Blake Pryor, Amanda Ward, Brett Pryor, Justin Scott, Jason Scott and Josh Scott; and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Pryor Webb; one sister, Rysania Lane King; and three brothers, Charles Brown Ruble, Jr., John Harold Ruble and Joe Ruble.
