Carolyn June Pittinger, 74, of Union City passed away 10:12 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Union City.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born June 13, 1943, in Union City, , daughter of the late Finis Alvin and Frankie (Heidelberg) Williams. She had been employed as a medical technician for 30 years and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Allen (Phillip) Pittinger-Dunham of Washington D.C.; two grandsons, Alexander Pittinger of Washington D.C., and Devin Pittinger of Benton, Arkansas; one great-grandson, Rowan Pittinger of Benton, Arkansas; one sister, Joyce (Charlie) Price of Union City; five nieces and nephews, Rhonda Griffin, Jenny Cagle, Tony McDaniel and Dion McDaniel of Rives, and Shane Harris of Colorado.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Julia McDaniel.
