Ms. Carolyn Sue Herchenhahn, 71, of Union City died 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother James Kinsey will officiate.
Ms. Herchenhahn was born September 3, 1937, in Obion County, daughter of the late Robert Carnell and Harriet (Russell) Brundige. She had been employed at the former Holmes Drug Store in Union City and at Union City Manor Nursing Home. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Stephen May of Union City, Lisa and Eddie Long of Martin and Becky and Jason Powell of Newbern; three sisters, Ann Duren, Virginia Spence and Marynell King all of Kenton; her brother, Robert Brundige of Union City; four grandchildren, Stephen May of Oakland, Stacey May of Union City and Eli Powell and Ethan Powell both of Newbern; and four great-grandchildren, Aspen May, Hamilton May and Vivian May, all of Oakland and Jalen Driver of Union City.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.
Pallbearers to serve will be Brad Moss, Scottie King, Jeff Duren, Darrell Duren, Stephen May and Michael May.
