Mrs. Carole Ann Smith, 74, of Reelfoot Lake passed away 11:40 a.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Smith, Keaton McCormack, Garrett Coburn, Thomas Smith, Jr., Johnny Smith, Jr. and April Cochran.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shirley Kelley, Selina Hutcheson, Nancy Sullivan, Sharon Enochs and Selena Broglin.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Carole was born June 24, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late Paul and Selma (Janes) Pare'. She married Thomas Smith October 27, 1995. He survives. She was a registered nurse and worked for the former Obion County General Hospital, Union City Healthcare, The Bridge in Ridgely, Reelfoot Manor in Tiptonville and Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville.

She is also survived by four bonus children, Thomas Smith, Jr. (Jennifer), Joseph Smith (Sharon) Selena Broglin (Todd) and April Cochran; six bonus grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister, Linda Lyon Johnson (Johnie) of Hornbeak; one nephew, Landon Lyon (Melinda) of Pegram; one niece, Stacia Lyon Ruger (Jay) of Clarksville; and six great nieces and nephews.
