Carlos B. Gilliland, 69, of Union City passed away 11:44 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019.

Carlos was born October 7, 1949, in Union City, son of the late Martha Frances (Gilliland) Irvine. He had been employed as a warehouse worker with Wal-Mart, Inc.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Madding of Union City; four stepdaughters, Jennifer Stegall (Tim) and Nancy Weinfurtner (Karl) all of Blevins, Arkansas, Carrie Hirmer (Mark) of Texarkana, Arkansas and Amy Collins (Mike) of Carrollton, Texas; one stepson, Jerry Myrick (Brandi) of Blevins, Arkansas; one brother, Charles "Buddy" Irvine (Stephanie) of Union City; three grandchildren, Bobby Madding II, Jalisa Madding and Aaliyah Gholson all of Union City; two great grandchildren, Jaxon Madding and Dakota Madding both of Union City; and several step grandchildren.
