Mr. Carl Lee "C.L." Olson, 87, of Union City passed away 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his home.

There will be no services.

Carl was born June 13, 1934, in Independence, Missouri, son of the late Carroll Lloyd and Alta Mae (Shafer) Olson. He married Allene (Wellman) Olson August 22, 1954. She survives. He attended Second Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir. Carl was a teacher and band director for over 25 years.

He is also survived by four daughters, Carla Buck (Ron) of Williamsburg, Virginia, Anita Olson of San Diego, California, Shana Fowler (Scott) of Union City and Laurel Olson of Lewellen, Nebraska; one son, Jeff Olson of San Diego, California; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother, Freddie Olson (Maxine) of Arkansas.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Fishburn.
