Visitation for Mr. Ryland will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Ryland was born November 12, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late James and Ruby (Beck) Ryland. He married Sylvia (Walker) Ryland December 19, 1982. She survives. Mr. Ryland was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Union City and the American Legion in Martin.

He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Fran and Dave McCauley of LaBrea, California and Darlene and Tony Dobson of Troy; two sons and a daugter-in-law, Tony and Eva Walker of Houston, Texas and Mike Hoffman of Fillmore, California; his step son, Allan Jones of Mississippi; his step daughter, Renee Jones of Martin; five grandchildren, Parker Dobson and Jonathan Dobson both of Troy, Jason Adamson and Kevin Adamson both of LaBrea, California and Chris Walker of Houston, Texas; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Ryland; and his brother, James Ryland.
