Mr. Robert C. "Bud" Elks, 82, of Hickman, Ky. passed away 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at West Hickman Baptist Church. Brother Jason Sipes will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at West Hickman Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be James Elks, Johnnie Boyer, Jr., Ryker Cagle, Bradley Bledsoe, Ryan Porter and Lloyd Thomas Gaskins.

Bud was born October 8, 1937, in Hickman, son of the late Elihue and Corine (Johnson) Elks. He married Jo Ann (Thomas) Elks July 25, 1955. She survives. He worked construction for many years and was also a truck driver. Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and member of the West Hickman Baptist Church.

He is also survived by one daughter, Alyson Renee Boyer (Johnnie) of Big Rock, Tn.; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three brothers, Danny Elks (Faye) of Woodland Mills, John David Elks (Janice) of Pahrump, Nv. and Jimmy Elks of Water Valley.; six sisters, Eleanor Johnson of Fulton, Donna Haney (Joey) of Hickman, Jane Bing of Union City, Pearl Dick of Union City, Joyce Kuta of Troy and Frances Johnson of Morganfield, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Elks; one granddaughter, Patty Lynn Elks; two sisters, Ann Farmer and Carol Ruth Elks; and one brother, Neal Elks.
