Mr. George Arthur "Buck" Moses, 82, of the Gardner community passed away 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Martin Memorial Gardens.  Landon Moore will officiate.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of services.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Austin, Sam Moses and friends.

Buck was born August 12, 1943, in Loudon County, son of the late William Aaron and Nettie Christine (Littelton) Moses.  He married Betty (Belew) Moses June 12, 1975.  She survives.  He was a janitor for the former Martin Bank and Martin Elementary School.  He also painted in the surrounding area for many years.

He is also survived by one son, Sam Moses of the Gardner community; one brother, Alan Moses of Chattanooga; one sister, Billie June Goodman of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Moses and Glenn Moses; and one sister, Joann Martin.
